Hyperliquid: News (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is a reader for public crypto news feeds. We built it to be as private as a news reader can reasonably be. This page explains, in plain English, what happens when you use the website at hyperwoliquid.com or our companion iOS application.

Short version

  • We do not require an account.
  • We do not ask for your name, email, phone, or location.
  • We do not run advertising or third-party trackers.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share user data — because we do not have any.
  • The only personal data that ever reaches our servers is the standard information a web browser sends with every HTTP request (such as an IP address and User-Agent string), and that is used solely to serve the page and prevent abuse.

Information we collect

We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information. When you load a page, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database provider (Upstash) automatically process the technical request information needed to return a response. This typically includes:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version (User-Agent)
  • Requested URL and HTTP status
  • Approximate timestamp

This information is processed transiently for the purpose of delivering the service and is not joined with any other data to identify you.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not set tracking cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising SDK. The iOS application does not embed third-party tracking SDKs.

News content

The app aggregates publicly available RSS feeds and renders each article in a clean reader view. Article text and images are fetched from the original publisher’s public URL on demand and cached on our servers for performance. Copyright in each article remains with its original publisher; we provide a reading interface, not republication rights. If you are a publisher and wish a specific feed or article to be removed, contact us using the address below and we will remove it within a reasonable period.

Inline links

Articles sometimes contain inline hyperlinks (for example, a ticker symbol or a related-story link). Tapping one of these links opens the destination in a new tab using your device’s default browser. Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Data retention

Cached article text and metadata are stored in our key-value database for up to 30 days and then expire automatically. We do not maintain a long-term record of which articles a given device or IP address has viewed.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

Traffic to and from the app is served exclusively over HTTPS. Our hosting and database providers operate under industry-standard security controls. No method of internet transmission is, however, 100% secure.

International users

The app may be accessed from anywhere in the world. By using the app, you understand that any technical information sent with your request may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including the United States and the European Union.

Your choices

Because we do not maintain accounts or user profiles, there is no account to delete and no advertising profile to opt out of. You can stop transmitting any information to us at any time by closing the app or navigating away from the website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
